FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

As deciding at the closing session of XII. Symposium of Medieval and Turkish Period Excavations and Art Historical Researches was done at Çanakkale-Onsekiz Mart University, “XIII. Symposium of Medieval and Turkish Period Excavations and Art Historical Researches” will be organized by our department at 14–16 October 2009 in Denizli/Turkey. It is anticipated that symposium will be actualized with international participation.

 Working in this field with the Symposium for Medieval and Turkish periods of data obtained from excavations have context be introduced, Byzantine and Turkish art research in the field of art history is intended to assess. With the symposium, scholars, researchers and students came together to ensure the mutual exchange of information is aimed. Papers will be printed as a book. Paper Guideline for full texts and deadline will be notified.

Please submit an abstract by 20 April 2009. Abstracts should include: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an email address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 6 weeks. List of Papers to be Presented, Symposium Program, Paper Guidelines and other details will be announced on the website.
